Google Apps coming to 75 thousand students in Kirklees

Kirklees Local Authority has commissioned Innovicity to work with Google in order to provide Google Apps for Educations to students and staff in Kirklees schools. Not only will this save schools thousands of pounds but it also provides schools with the ability to make use of a high quality suite of online tools to support enhanced collaboration and communication within and between schools.

Startin with a pilot of two schools this summer the programme aims to introduce Google Apps for Education to a growing number of schools over the next year.

Innovicity Developing 3D Virtual Worlds for schools

Innovicity are developing a simple implementation of a 3D Virtual World that can be hosted within the school LAN or out on the Internet. Schools will be able to explore the use of these exciting virtual environment with full control over who is using them and how they are being used.

Innovicity offer full CPD support and support for the design of 3D environments.

Full product information will be available early in the Autumn Term 2010.
